What a busy start to the school year!
In Haughmond we’ve got straight into the swing of our learning, launching our topic with a Heroes theme day. We have begun looking at the seasons and weather in Science, carrying out a colour survey of the outside area and making windsocks to learn about wind direction. In English we have begun the book troll swap and worked collaboratively to explore and make predictions about the characters and in R.E. we’ve begun looking at places of Worship and what makes them special. We’ve even met some baby pigeons that Mrs Whittaker rescued and Mrs Gregory is now hand-raising, meaning that we can see how they grow up.
