We are continuing to prepare for Christmas this week with Christmas carols and songs being practised with both Mrs. Kessel-Fell and Mrs. Roberson. Mrs. Kessel-Fell has been working with classes on their songs for Christingle and everyone is starting to sound great! Hopefully you’ll hear some of these songs being sung at home too. Choir continued to sing a variety of songs including the very catchy ‘Dance Monkey’ as well as the Christmas songs. Well done everyone!

Mrs. Roberson has been working with Pbuzz players on developing a lovely clear sound this week as well as learning how to perform Jingle Bells as soloists. Year 4 have also started to perform together as a class, developing their listening skills to stay in time with each other. Grinshill worked very hard to play at a quiet dynamic for the lesson as well as showing that they can play with correct technique. Some members of the class have been practising on their own recorders at home too so hopefully you’ll have heard the product of weeks of hard work.

Music Community Group worked hard again this week as they continued preparing pieces to perform and this week was the second rehearsal for Wrekin’s very own band. Well done musicians, you’re all doing a great job!
