We welcomed a team from the NSPCC (and their mascot Buddy!) to school to work with all pupils on how to stay safe – their message is Speak Out, Stay Safe.
Children learned what constitutes abuse, who to talk to if they feel unsafe and the number to call Childline – 0800 11 11.
Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in an additional workshop aimed at developing pupils’ understanding of specific dangers online, who their trusted adults are and how they can help themselves and each other stay safe.
