Each half term, we share and learn about one of our values.
This half term our value is ‘Justice’.
In our whole-school and class Worship times we will be sharing stories, the Bible and prayers which help us understand and learn about Justice.

Well done to Florence, Milo, Eddie and Finlay who managed Bomere Heath’s best ever finish of 16th (out of 100 teams) at the Wrekin College Maths Challenge on Friday 14th September. The mathematicians speedily solved problems and calculations for 90 minutes in the Sports Hall at Wrekin College (Wellington). We were up against some tough opposition and are very proud of their achievements!
Please remember that all pupils need blue/black shorts and a white t-shirt with trainers/pumps for every PE lesson (Monday and Wednesday).
Pupils from Year 1 up to Year 6 have been tasked with writing their letters of application for the upcoming School Council Elections.

Discussions with teachers:
The start of the term is usually an exciting time for pupils, parents and teachers, however we do appreciate that for some pupils, they may have some worries or there maybe family news to discuss in school. Please arrange to see you child’s teacher via the school office (Mrs Winwood) at the earliest opportunity.
Homework and Spellings:
By the end of the first week of term, teachers will begin to notify pupils and parents of homework and spellings by using their Class Pages on the school website.
Asthma and other medical needs
Please be aware that it is vitally important that parents and carers provide a working and ‘in-date’ inhaler for pupils who suffer with asthma. Please send this in on the first day of term. If your child does have any other medical needs, especially new pupils and new medical issues, please inform the school office.
PE Kits
Pupils should bring in their PE Kits at the start of term – A white t-shirt, black or navy blue shorts and black or navy blue socks (pupils may also bring a sweatshirt and joggers for colder weather). It is expected that pupils bring in PE Kits for every lesson. Swimming lessons take place in Spring Term – parents will be advised accordingly.
