Well done to the Bomere Heath CE Primary School Archery team, who have this week competed in the Shropshire Level Three finals. The team, made up of six Year 5 pupils, performed heroically, and although they did not win, we are still immensely proud of them all!

Just a reminder that Sports Day takes place on Tuesday 26th June 2018. We will look to start at approximately 9.20-9.30 and it should take around 2 hours to complete.
Pupils have chosen their races and have been in training this week! Those classes who have PE on Monday with JH Coaching will get some more practice then!
Races include Egg and Spoon, Shuttle Run, Sprints and Long Distance Mini-marathons!
Please come along and support the children on Sports Day – it means so much to the pupils and teachers to share the day with parents and carers!
We will be holding a Science Focus Day on Friday 25th May 2018.
Messy Church
Thank you so much to all who came to our first Messy Church last month. We had a great time and lots of fun! Our next Messy Church will be on Friday, 15th June, 3.20- 5.30 (ish) in Grinshill classroom.
You would be all be so welcome to come along. We do crafts and activities, then have a short worship service followed by tea. Messy Church is a family event- parents come too and remain responsible for their children throughout. We hope to see you there!
Bags were sent home with pupils yesterday, the collection is on Monday morning so please bring in any bags first thing on Monday. We can collect old clothes, shoes, bags, bed linen, towels, but NOT school uniform please.
As you may be aware, there have been important changes to how schools handle data.
Please read and return the letter named “Data Protection Regulations – changes” as soon as possible.

The pupils in Years 3, 5 and 6 will be going on an exciting trip to Birmingham on 5th June.
Look out for a letter that will come home with your child with further details.
Well done to the Year Six pupils who have completed heir SATs this week. They have all put in wonderful effort and we are looking forward to their results in July!

Wrekin class will be going on a Class Trip to Birmingham on Tuesday 5th June.
Mrs Foster will be taking the class (as Mr Field is away with Year 4 in Liverpool) with the Teaching Assistants.
In the morning the pupils will be visiting the iconic Birmingham Library and in the afternoon they will visit Singer’s Hill Synagogue.
Look out for a letter and consent form soon.
