A message from Rev Hannah:
Dear Friends,
Our first Forest Church of 2025 is this coming Sunday, 3pm at Leaton Forest (by kind invitation of Charles Bridgeman).
In case you’ve not been to Forest Church before, here’s a bit about what to expect…
- We always meet outside, in a different place each time
- We begin with an opening prayer, and then have time to explore at our own pace, do crafts, paint, draw, identify plants, get involved in activities (this time we have den building!)
- At 4pm or so, we gather for a short, outdoor worship service, and we sometimes have a particular theme
- We end with hot drinks (provided), and you are very welcome to bring a packed tea to eat
- EVERYONE is welcome! All ages (we usually have a range of 80 or so years), and dogs on leads
- You’ll need to dress for the weather
We do hope you can join us. This time round we do have shelter and access to a toilet. Leaton Forest is where the Christmas trees are sold- so it’s on the B5067 (the road to Baschurch), just opposite Leaton Church. Drive up the long drive, and there’s plenty of parking by the grain store. I’ll set the crafts up in the barn, so we have a bit of shelter. The barn is a very short walk from the car.
With blessings,
Hannah x
