On Thursday 5th March, we celebrated World Book Day, where pupils and teachers dressed up as their favourite characters!
We were, as always, very impressed with the outfits – from The Hungry Caterpillar to Tom Gates, from Alice in Wonderland to Zog!
We would like to thank parents and carers for using this opportunity to send in donations for the Shrewsbury Food Bank – there is now a huge shipment of non-perishable goods on its way to Barnabas Church to help local families in times of need. Barnabas – Shrewsbury Food Bank
Pupils were sent home with £1 book tokens, which can be used against the price of a book or in exchange for a special World Book Day book, available at major book retailers during March.
