Each half term your child will be given a set of spellings taken from their relevant year group lists. We will be learning these throughout the half term and it would be helpful for your child to practise these words at home also. We try to include these words in our writing and at the end of the half term, we carry out collaborative spelling tests with our peers.
A copy of the word lists are in your child’s homework book, I have also shared them here.

Well done to all of the children who took part in the Shropshire Schools Half Marathon. They completed their final mile at the West Mid Show ground this morning. It was a great morning and the sun shone! You can tell from the smiles in the photos the hard work paid off in the end! Thank you to Mrs James for supporting them through the whole process the past few weeks.
This week please can you choose a new book from fiction express. Read chapter 1 and answer the questions.

Welcome back to a new term in Stiperstones class.

On Friday 22nd March all the classes took part in World Water Day.
The environmental warriors led a worship about why we need to help save water, followed by a range of activities in class looking at ways to save water at school and at home. Some classes created posters, here is an example of a poster.
