Well done to the some of the Year 5 / 6 pupils who competed in the area Sports Hall Athletics competition this week. A boys team and a girls team participated in relays, sprints and a variety of field events, with all team members’ points being added together to give a final score. The boys’ team came 6th whilst the girls’ team cam 7th, competing against all other local primary schools. Mr Field was very proud of their teamwork, effort and speedy running!

Cross Country Success
On Wednesday 20th November, many of our Y3-Y6 pupils completed their final Cross Country race of the competition. We are very proud of their effort and every single pupil; has improved over the four weeks of racing. In addition, they have been running in very tricky conditions; wind, rain, mud and icy winds!
All results will be collated and some of the very high-performing pupils will be invited to take part in the North Shropshire Cross Country Finals next year.
