What Parents Need to Know about Marvel Rivals
Marvel Rivals is a highly popular multiplayer shooter that pits iconic superheroes against formidable villains. The game is free –to play on PC and current-generation consoles but does feature microtransactions that allow players to spend real money on cosmetic items for their characters.
While Marvel Rivals has been deemed suitable for children aged 12 and over, there are several risks associated with the title that parents should be aware of. This free guide offers more information on these safety concerns and lets you know how to ensure that children playing the game can have a fun and age-appropriate experience.

Dodgeball Update
Update written by Annabelle, Year 6 Pupil and Dodgeball Team Player:
“As you will know, we are a strong team of dodgeball players. We have already competed in the local Corbet School competition and won that. Then we moved up a step and travelled to Thomas Adams for the next competition. This was very hard but we worked together well and we won! However we did not realise what was coming next…On Friday 7th February we went to Telford Tennis Centre to compete in the Shropshire and Telford Dodgeball Finals and it was very exciting! Mr Field bought us some fluorescent sweatbands to get us into the mood. We played really well, winning three matches and losing two. We came second in the group so sadly we did not get into the final. With a few adjustments we could have won and we know how we can improve for next time. We played with determination and we worked very hard together so we are very proud of that.“
