Due to the heavy snowfall and for the safety of our students and staff, the school will be closed tomorrow. While we are shut, please remember to read your book and maybe play a board game where you get to practise your counting.
However, since we don’t get snow days very often, I truly hope you take the time to wrap up warm and enjoy the weather! If you can, please take some pictures of your snowy adventures to share with the class when we return. Stay safe and warm, and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday!
On Monday please could children bring in wellies or old trainers you don’t mind getting dirty ready to play on the field if the playground is too icy.
Welcome Back – Happy New Year 2026
We hope you have all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas break. It’s a very chilly start to the New Year, and we are closely monitoring the weather. We will keep you updated with any changes that may affect you and your child.
We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at 8:40am. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing a sensible, warm coat, and consider adding gloves and a hat for playtime, as it is very cold outside.
Tomorrow is PE day for some classes (Haughmond), so please dress appropriately for the weather. Leggings or joggers may be needed for outdoor activities. Remember to stick to school colours and plain clothing with no logos, except for the Bomere Heath logo.
Rest of school in full uniform.
To enjoy the winter weather please bring wellies to go on the field, but bring school shoes to change into.
All staff are excited to welcome pupils back and begin a fantastic new year of learning and opportunities together!

KS1 Nativity
We are very excited in KS1 as we have casted our nativity.
Please check children’s bags to know their role in the nativity and if they have words they will be in their bags too!
If you have any costumes you would like to donate from previous years please hand to a member of the KS1 team.
