Important Notice

Would parents please ensure they supervise children before and after school times.  Staff and volunteers worked very hard during the summer to clear out and re-line the pond in the Early Years area, and have now started to stock it with fish. Children must please keep off all areas which are not walkways before and after school.  As well as the garden area by Haughmond and Pimhill classroom, this includes the garden at the front of school and the play equipment and grass by the main playground.  The play equipment is completely out of bounds before and after school hours and children must not be allowed to climb on it.

Animals around school

Sometimes there are unaccompanied animals that appear outside the school and occasionally enter the school grounds. As much as these animals look cute, we ask that you are vigilant with your children and encourage them not to approach them or attempt to stroke them. They may become distressed or worried and could bite, scratch or frighten your children.

Thank you for your support in this matter.

Wrekin College Maths Challenge – Year 6

Well done to Florence, Milo, Eddie and Finlay who managed Bomere Heath’s best ever finish of 16th (out of 100 teams) at the Wrekin College Maths Challenge on Friday 14th September. The mathematicians speedily solved problems and calculations for 90 minutes in the Sports Hall at Wrekin College (Wellington). We were up against some tough opposition and are very proud of their achievements!

Online Safety

Following a football-filled summer, and with over 20 million players in the current season of FIFA, the National Online Safett team have created a free guide for parents and carers on the nation’s favourite online football game.

This free guide for parents & carers covers what they need to know about the game to help safeguard their children from potential online risks including;

Please help us spread the message by retweeting our FIFA guide for parents & carers here: https://twitter.com/natonlinesafety/status/1037317637339054081
