It’s been lovely to see you all back in class! Please find below an overview of our topic for the Autumn term.
Stiperstones Topic Overview Autumn
We do PE on a Monday and a Thursday, so please come dressed in your PE kit on those days.
Homework will be a mix of online and written activities, a homework book will be used, and if you need any reminders on passwords please ask Mrs Quigley or Miss Horton. Homework will be given out each Monday and collected by the following Monday.

PE Days for each class
The days scheduled for PE every week for each class are as follows:
Pimhill: Thursday
Haughmond: Wednesday and Thursday
Grinshill: Tuesday and Thursday
Stiperstones: Monday and Thursday
Wrekin: Tuesday and Thursday
On PE days children need to wear their PE kit to school please, including trainers. They will keep this on all day.
Wrekin Class Information!
Hello and welcome to new and returning pupils, parents and carers!
Mr Field, Mrs Horton, Mrs Norris and Mrs Oxford will be teaching Wrekin class this year. In addition, Miss Ryan will take a PE lesson (Thursday) and Mrs Kessel-Fell will teach music (Tuesday). Mr Lack and Mrs James will be supervising during lunchtimes too!
- PE will be Tuesdays and Thursdays (please come to school in PE Kit)
- Homework will be a blend of online and written activities, a homework book will be used and Mr Field will give out passwords etc! Homework will be given out each Friday and collected by the following Wednesday
- Spellings will be taught in class each week, then assessed each Friday
- Pupils should read for at least 20 minutes per day at home, which is to be recorded in the yellow reading record (to be handed in for checking each Friday). We would request that parents check and sign this at least once per week
Our history topic is Crime and Punishment!
It is great to see the pupils back at school after their summer holiday, however we know that it can cause anxious feelings. If you would like to speak with Mr Field, please catch him on the gate or call into the office to arrange an appointment.

Haughmond New Year Information!
Welcome back to a brand new year!
This term we are going to be focusing on a History topic, called Fire! Fire! We will be learning all about The Great Fire of London and The Gunpowder Plot.
Here is some useful information for the term ahead:
PE sessions this term are on a Wednesday and Thursday. Starting from the week beginning 6th September please could you come to school in your P.E. kit on those days.
Spellings are tested each Tuesday morning, which is is also when the new ones are handed out. Please make sure spelling books are in school everyday.
Homework is given out on a Friday, and is due in the following Friday morning. This term homework will typically be based online and you will be able to find the information both on Teams and on here.
As well as the weekly homework, please remember to read regularly at home, along with practising your spellings, and if you are in Year Two, learning your 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
