Welcome back everyone in 2024!
Well done to the recipients of our first set of certificates in 2024…
A few children from school, went along to Leaton Church to decorate a Christmas tree, as part of the Christmas tree festival.
The decorations were made by some children at school representing the true meaning of Christmas.
The girls did a wonderful job, Thank you.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped and visited our fair on Friday. We raised £654. Thank you to those in the choir who sang beautifully.
Over the last few weeks we have been learning about the properties of rocks, the three main rock groups (Sedimentary, Igneous and Metamorphic) and where they come from. This week, the children have been using chocolate to make comparisons to the different rock types and how the rocks are formed on our planet.
Of course they all loved tasting the rocks too 🙂
Today all of the classes received their exciting new deliveries of Reading Rocks books. Each class will receive two books per half term. All of the children will get a chance to read these new books. If your child does bring them home, please take care of them and return them back to class when finished with, for another child to enjoy.
We would like to thank Battlefield Farm shop for purchasing these for our children. Thank you
As a school we are celebrating Roald Dahl day, dressing up, listening to stories, singing songs and various story related activities.
