Yesterday we were proud to welcome a film crew from the Lichfield Diocese, alongside Leaton Church, as part of our work on becoming dementia friendly as a school.
Mrs. Roberts and Mrs Gregory toured the school with Mr. Clive Rogers to create a film which will support schools and churches in making their environments as dementia friendly as possible. Clive identified some positives about our school, along with some ways we can continue to improve what we already do and provide.
Today we celebrated world book day!
Everyone looked amazing and dressed up as favourite book characters or brought their favourite book in. Activities were taking place throughout the day. We love reading at Bomere!
Good Morning,
I have included my list of appointments on the link below, just in case the slip did not make it home to you 🙂
If you still require an appointment, please see me on the gate or contact the office.
Kind regards,
Mrs Roberts

We had a fantastic day in Chester on Monday. The children were met off the coaches by two Roman soldiers. They then trained us in how to be soldiers in the Roman Army, learning formations and strategies to attack their enemies. They also taught us some training chants that we sang in Latin as we marched through the streets of Chester.
We learnt about what Chester looked like as a Roman settlement and looked at the ancient Roman walls that are still in place today.
The children had the opportunity to explore two of the museums to see genuine artefacts and also to attempt some of the challenges, such as building arches.

Yesterday, year 3 and 4 went to Thomas Adams school to take part in a dodgeball competition with schools from all around Shropshire. They came third overall, they played incredibly hard and had fantastic sportsmanship! We were very proud of them all!
We are very proud to announce our Stars of the Half Term!
A big well done for their hard work and brilliance to Noah, Jack, Andre, Max and Francine.
