The holiday season is a time for celebration, relaxation and spending well-earned time with loved ones. While this period will hopefully be calm, it’s important that parents and educators acknowledge there are still things we can do to make these weeks as safe as possible for the young people in our care.

Some of our Year 5 and 6 boys played in the recent Shropshire football event at Croud Meadow, in which they competed very well against a range of schools. Mr Lack said that they played extremely well and showed great teamwork.

On Tuesday, Y5/6 pupils enjoyed a STEM Day!

In the morning, students had the chance to get hands-on with STEM and unleash their creativity as they took part in an exciting activity – The Space Challenge. Working in teams, students designed, built and tested a rocket for launching a satellite into space.

Then in the afternoon, students took part in a really fun activity – The Sustainability of Aerospace – challenging students to design a sustainable aircraft of the future, before developing a poster to present their ideas.
