For World Book Day we have watched and listened to MC Grammar, including his World Book Day rap. After listening to his Gruffalo rap, we decided we would like to rap our own Julia Donaldson book, as she is our author of the half term. We were very excited on Friday morning to discover that MC Grammar himself had seen and commented on our video!
Please use the below link to watch our rap. We worked really hard on the words and rhythm and hope you enjoy our creation!

Our basketball team came 3rd in a strong field of local teams in the Corbet School tournament this week. Well done!
Here are our certificate winners this week:
Yesterday we were proud to welcome a film crew from the Lichfield Diocese, alongside Leaton Church, as part of our work on becoming dementia friendly as a school.
Mrs. Roberts and Mrs Gregory toured the school with Mr. Clive Rogers to create a film which will support schools and churches in making their environments as dementia friendly as possible. Clive identified some positives about our school, along with some ways we can continue to improve what we already do and provide.
Today we celebrated world book day!
Everyone looked amazing and dressed up as favourite book characters or brought their favourite book in. Activities were taking place throughout the day. We love reading at Bomere!
