Here are some photos from our class;
Thank you for a fabulous day!
Mrs Sallie Roberts, Mrs Whitaker and Ms Steadman
We had an excellent day out yesterday using our geography skills.
The children were able to use a range of skills and equipment, such as; map making, reading data on ipads, taking wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity and light.
This information was then used to find the best place for an outdoor classroom, which the children designed.
We were all a little wet and cold at the end of the day, but still enjoyed a great day.
Mrs Roberts, Mr Field and Mrs Quigley transformed into Hogwarts teachers Hagrid, Professor Umbridge and Professor Trelawney.
We will update with more pictures throughout the day.
Grinshill class were visited today by Shropshire Fire services to talk about being safe at home.
They were all amazing and Richard Taylor was very impressed with their thoughtful questions.
There is an opportunity for the children to receive a certificate, if they complete the tasks coming home with them today.
Kind regards
Mrs Sallie Roberts

The sounds of music have been heard all over school this week with singing practice, curriculum lessons, whole class percussion, brass and woodwind lessons as well as the individual piano and drum kit lessons. Both choir and music community group were also sounding great as they continue to learn new music to perform. A lovely week for all involved, thanks to the children we’ve taught!
This half term in art we have been learning about different methods of creating prints. Today we learnt about William Morris and then created our own water inspired print using quarter of a polystyrene pizza base! First we had to draw our design before colouring it in with felt tip pen. Then we sprayed the printing block with water and used it to print! We had to repeat the process 4 times to create a complete circle.
Here are some of our artworks. We are very proud of them!
