Homework – 10.11.23

This week I have added a reading lesson for homework on Reading Eggs. Please also read with a grown up at least 4 times this week and write it in your reading record as well as practising your times tables.

Also, when we were visited by Firefighter Rob this week, he challenged us to learn our full address. Please practise this over the week. We will see if we can remember our addresses next Friday.

Homework – 27th October 2023

Homework tasks to last from now until 10th November are:

  1. Ask a grown up at home to listen to you read and record it in your reading diary. Aim to do this as many times as you can. Also read whatever you like, just for enjoyment
  2. Practise the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. You could use Times Tables Rockstars or any other method that works for you.
  3. There are some Storylands activities on Reading Eggs to complete. If you want to, you can also do some personalised activities.
  4. Enjoy your half term and have a rest!

3 x 10 = 30                              30 ÷ 3 = 10

10 x 1 = 10                              10 ÷ 10 = 1

10 x 2 = 20                               20 ÷ 10 = 2

10 x 3 = 30                              30 ÷ 10 = 3

Homework 3.3.23

Today in our workshop with Teresa Heapy, you created your own ‘very little’ characters like her Very Little Red Riding Hood and Very Little Cinderella. This week I would like you to write your own story using your own character. See if you can make your story into a little book that you can share with the class.
