We will be selling Poppies and other official Royal British Legion merchandise at school each day from 5th to 9th November. Year 6 pupils will come round to classes each day with the poppies. If you wish your child to have a poppy or other merchandise (pencil, ruler, pencil sharpener, eraser, reflector poppy) please give him/her the suggested minimum donation of 50p to put in the collection tin. Pupils should not come to the office with the money as the Year 6 pupils enjoy being responsible for this activity.

Cross Country Running
Mrs Roberts was delighted to see the tremendous performances our cross-country runners put in on Tuesday at the Corbet School. We had 2 first places, a second place, a third place and all others finished within the top 10. This was an excellent start to the series of races – there are 3 more to come at the Corbet, after which the places are averaged out and the top runners go on to the next level of the Shropshire Games in a bid to represent North Shropshire in the final level 3 round for the whole of Shropshire.
Village Christmas Fair
Please see attached flier for Village Christmas Fair on 18 November. Please note there is no actual Christmas Fair in school this year but we have lots of other Christmas activities as listed in Diary Dates and Friends diary dates.
