Year 6 Arthog Trip

We would like to say how proud we are of the Year 6s upon their return from their residential trip to Arthog this week.

The children behaved brilliantly, participated fully in every activity and were happy and determined at every step. They took part in team-building tasks, orienteering, a long night-walk, canoeing and (everybody’s favourite) gorge-walking.

Mrs Norris and Mr Field, who accompanied the children, were extremely pleased with all pupils and their efforts!

Cross Country Success

On Friday 31st January several of our cross country runners took part in the Level 2 North Shropshire Cross Country Championships. They had been invited to Oswestry School for the race after succeeding at the Corbet series before Christmas.

All runners competed very well, with one runner, Jess (Year 3) winning her race! She will now compete in the Shropshire Finals in March!

Well done to all!
