Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is funding provided to schools to support children who may be vulnerable to underachievement: for those who children are currently eligible and those who have been eligible for free school meals in any of the previous six years. It also provides a smaller amount of funding for children who have been eligible for the service child premium at any point in the last three years.
At Bomere Heath CE Primary School we ensure that the funding is being utilised effectively by analysing the needs of children entitled to Pupil Premium, putting into place strategies and actions to meet their needs and then monitoring this carefully.

During 2020-21, following the Covid-19 pandemic, the government has released funds to support catch-up for pupils in school.
