I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter of the new book, and you have all voted on the next chapter. This will be released in a couple of days so in the meantime I will upload another book for you to read.

Fiction Express Competition – Rules

The submitted works must have a minimum 1 page and a maximum length of 2 pages of A4. The text should double spaced, using Times New Roman font, size 12. Presented in Word document format and must be written in English.
The Word document should specify the full name of the author, teacher full name, the title of the story, the name of the school and the school have a native level. Participants can download the Word template which has all of the required information specified.

Please fill in your details at the top of the page and send to school by 30th April.

  2. Find the book called ‘ The Island At The End Of The Bed’ – read chapter 1 and complete the quiz then complete the following work.

We have been given a free trial for this website Fiction Express). You can login and read books then complete comprehension style questions or quizzes.

You can select the level from the available books that is right for you. I suggest starting at level 1. These texts are more difficult that reading eggs/ express.

Read each chapter, answer the questions, then vote for the next chapter. If you get up to date with the book the voting is live. (It looks like books start on a Monday and then release a new chapter each day)
