Due to the heavy snowfall and for the safety of our students and staff, the school will be closed tomorrow. While we are shut and over the weekend. I have set some learning activities to keep your brains ticking over: please spend some time reading, practising your times tables using TTR or using the x table games website and Reading eggs.
However, since we don’t get snow days very often, I truly hope you take the time to wrap up warm and enjoy the weather!
On Monday please could children bring in wellies or old trainers you don’t mind getting dirty ready to play on the field if the playground is too icy.
Enjoy the snow!
Hope you all had a super break and are ready for a new term.

Times tables are really important to help in all areas of maths. Once you know your tables you know them for life!
Children should be practising their times tables everyday using times tables rockstars or the times tables games website
https://www.timestables.co.uk/multiplication-tables-check/
The link above is a great way for children to practise with the speed of recalling their times tables. This is particularly useful for year 4 who will be sitting their multiplication check at the end of year 4.
Dojos are awarded every time you access TTR at home!
Please encourage your child to practise their times tables in these fun interactive ways.
Thank you
Mrs Quigley
