We have joined up with Sentinel Cricket Club, via the Shropshire Cricket Board, to offer Year One and Wrekin Class cricket coaching every Tuesday this half term. Pupils will develop their catching, batting, tactical and fitness skills in a fun and engaging way!
On 5th September Wrekin class went on an excellent trip to Pizza Express to learn how to make pizza! They discovered the history of the Margherita Pizza, learned how to make dough and best of all made their own tasty pizzas! They tasted simply wonderful!
This formed part of our learning in Design and Technology!

Maths Aids – Create and Print worksheets
Well done to Florence, Milo, Eddie and Finlay who managed Bomere Heath’s best ever finish of 16th (out of 100 teams) at the Wrekin College Maths Challenge on Friday 14th September. The mathematicians speedily solved problems and calculations for 90 minutes in the Sports Hall at Wrekin College (Wellington). We were up against some tough opposition and are very proud of their achievements!
Please remember that all pupils need blue/black shorts and a white t-shirt with trainers/pumps for every PE lesson (Monday and Wednesday).
Pupils from Year 1 up to Year 6 have been tasked with writing their letters of application for the upcoming School Council Elections.

Elections will take place on Friday 14th September 2018 and new School Council members will be announced during the following week.

We are really happy to welcome back all pupils, parents/carers and staff back to school for the Autumn 2018 term.
Remember – if you need to speak with your child’s class teacher, please make an appointment via Mrs Winwood in the School Office.
On Tuesday 10th July 2018 pupils will experience life in their new classes for September. Current Year 6 pupils will be attending their secondary schools, whilst all other pupils will meet their new teachers for the day. Pupils should go to their existing classes first to register and give lunch information, before being directed to their new class.
The teachers are very much looking forward to this event, but of you have any questions, please pop into school.
