A huge thank you to all who came and supported the school on Friday 5th May. We braved the weather and a fun afternoon was had by all.
Congratulations to all the winners of the raffle prizes and to Kerry Davies who had the winning bid for the ‘Life-size cut-out of King Charles III.

As a homework task before the Coronation, we would like you to design and make your own crown, fit for a King.
At our Coronation Garden Party on 5th May, we will hold a crown procession to start the afternoon and there will be prizes for the crown in each class that catches our judge’s eye the most!
Today we have started our new Science topic. We are learning about how plants grow and have planted bean and cress as our first seeds today. We will also be planting sunflower seeds, wildflowers and bulbs as the topic progresses.
Fiction Express – Read chapter one of the new books and answer the quiz.
This half term we are having a big focus on Times tables.
You need to be spending time everyday doing some x table practise,
this can be done in the following ways.
TTR
times tables. co.uk website. games and the check.
Reciting them and writing them in your homework book, linked to the focus tables of the week.
Sheet to complete.
Spag Monsters and reading eggs are also available to complete at your own pace.
